Paul is the Founder and Managing Director at Creative Youth Theatre, as well as Board President & CEO. With over 25 years of business experience, Paul plays a vital part in managing the organization's finances, community relations and strategic planning. Paul finished 1st in his graduating class at St. Francis College where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Economics/Finance. His desire to mentor youth led him to part-time teaching, where he is in his fifth year as a certified substitute teacher.

Paul recently appeared on the FOX 10 television commercial "The Switch is On." Other credits include two ariZoni awards for Best Director and Best Overall non-musical Children's Production (A Little Princess, 2006-2007).  Paul also received five ariZoni nominations during the 2006-2007 season. Overall, Paul was directly involved with CRYT productions that received 21 ariZoni nominations and three ariZoni awards in only two seasons as a participating theater. 

Paul's love of the performing arts stems from his long career as an accomplished singer, song writer, and bassist.  He has appeared in numerous music appearances in his 34 year career, including performances with Kerry Campbell (formerly of WAR) and other notable musicians. 

Rick Hamouris - Music Director/Sound Engineer

Rick is the Music/Lighting Director and Sound Engineer at Creative Youth Theatre. Rick most recently appeared in the FOX 10 Television commercial, "The Switch is On."
A composer, musician, arranger and engineer, Rick plays several acoustic and electronic instruments. He studied computer-enhanced synthesis at the intensive interdisciplinary C.S.U. Summer Arts Program with Morton Subotnick, Suzanne Ciani and Bobby McFerrin. Rick has published two albums of original music, scored two films, performed with the San Francisco Taiko Dojo, and toured with numerous bands.

Danielle Stout - Teaching Artist/Actress
IMG_0159a.jpgDanielle is an 11 year veteran of the stage. Danielle appeared on the FOX 10 television commercial, "The Switch is On." She recently appeared as
Maria in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night (2007-2008). Danielle received an ariZoni Award for Best Director in a non-musical children's play (A Little Princess, 2006-2007), was nominated for Best Director (Puss In Boots, 2006-2007), and for Best Hair & Makeup Design (A Little Princess, 2006-07).  She appeared as Fiona in The Shop Around the Corner (2006-07) and in Creative Youth Theatre's, The Spell of Sleeping Beauty, where she received a 2005-2006 ariZoni nomination for Best Actress in a major role.  

Danielle has performed in numerous touring shows throughout Arizona and was the assistant director for Phoenix Theatre's Summer Camp 2005. She is a hardworking actor who always brings her positive and high energy both on or offstage.
